Lexaria Energy uses patent-pending technology to create a more comforting and effective process of delivering active ingredients through familiar sports nutrition products. Lexaria Energy launched operations in 2015 with the introduction of a line of specially formulated protein-energy bars.
Cannabinoids are a class of compounds found in several species of plants, like some echinacea species, and more abundantly, in agricultural (or industrial) hemp. Cannabidiol (CBD) can comprise 35% or more of the plant’s extracts as one of the principal cannabinoid compounds therein responsible for the benefits of hemp oil and its actions on the human endocannabinoid system. Cannabinoids can even be found in tiny quantities in Broccoli, Kale and other common foods!

Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the principle psychoactive ingredient in cannabis that produces a psychoactive reaction. Lexaria Energy products DO NOT contain THC other than tiny trace amounts that have no measurable effects.

Lexaria Energy prides itself in its testing process to ensure that our products are always within regulatory limits when it comes to THC content. Many countries around the world – and states within America – are using a range between 0.1% and 0.3% THC as the upper limit for compliance with regulations, and our products fall well below these limits with respect to any measurable THC content.

There are thousands of research papers that have been published by medical experts and others, detailing their findings when investigating cannabinoids and their possible medical effects. In accordance with regulations we can not make health claims regarding our products. Please refer to trusted educational sources available in the general published scientific literature about cannabinoids and their benefits. Regulations only permit us to send links to research and our testimonial list by private email request only.
YES! Lexaria Energy was founded based upon a patent pending process to infuse the active ingredients from hemp oil within lipids. Lipids are often fatty acids or fats. In doing so, a couple of important benefits are realized. One is that the strong taste of raw hemp oil is masked because it is bound within another substance. Secondly, bioavailability of lipids processed by the human body is high, and we believe our process may lead to a more efficient or effective absorption of the active ingredients into the body. We have not done clinical studies to determine whether that is the case, however, we have generated data through third-party laboratory testing that showed that our technology enabled a 499% increase in cannabinoid permeability in human intestinal tissues when compared to controls that lacked our technology improvements. Our technology seems to work on two levels: 1) a special infusion process that we cannot describe for trade secret reasons, and 2) the lipid ingredients as cannabinoid protectants.

Agricultural hemp is legal in more than 30 countries around the world, and cannabidiol is legal in many countries as well.
Imported hemp oil extracted from agricultural or industrial hemp, containing high concentrations of cannabidiol, is federally legal in the United States provided the THC level is below regulatory limits. Imported hemp oil is the source Lexaria Energy uses for its products. Customers have the responsibility of remaining in compliance with all local, regional and federal regulations wherever you are located.

We use only the finest quality, organic Scandinavian hemp oil to produce our products, processed without the use of any harmful solvents or chemicals. We subject our products to strict quality control testing to ensure batch to batch consistency and adherence to strict quality testing guidelines for heavy metals or pathogens to rule out contamination. Hemp oil is a very well tolerated substance in humans, with no known direct toxicities.
You should consult your doctor or health care practitioner about all possible drug, vitamin or substance interactions, or any other medical questions you may have. We are not aware of any complications with cannabidiol containing substances.

YES it is true! The patent makes certain detailed claims that we are not permitted to reprint here. According to the US Department of Health and Human Services Patent number 6,630,507, “Cannabinoids have been found to have antioxidant properties, unrelated to NMDA receptor antagonism.….. Nonpsychoactive cannabinoids, such as cannabidoil, are particularly advantageous to use because they avoid toxicity that is encountered with psychoactive cannabinoids at high doses useful in the method of the present invention.”

In fact the US government has filed a series of patents on CBD going all the way back to the 1940’s, and has sparked interest among independent researchers. Hundreds of research papers published since then have been linked back to this US government patent.

We have a very strict, internal quality assurance system, and we have third party laboratories analyze all our raw material and final products for cannabinoid potency, heavy metals, bacterial and microbial content, mycotoxin (fungal) content, and pesticides.
